Therapeutic Approach
I am currently earning my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University and will graduate in May 2025. I am a counselor in training and with a hope to become a gender specialist counseling transgender youth and parents of LGBTQ youth/adults.
I understand the unique challenges and emotions that come with navigating identity and acceptance within families through my own lived experience navigating the world with a transgender child. With a compassionate and affirming approach, I provide a safe space for parents to explore all their feelings, gain understanding, and cultivate supportive relationships with their children.
I am passionate about fostering personal growth and empowerment through the lens of Person-Centered Therapy enriched with a feminist perspective.
