Brittany Green
She/Her MA, MFT
I’ve always been someone who feels deeply and pays attention to connection. When I was younger, I was often told I was “too sensitive” or that I shouldn’t bring up the hard conversations. As an adult, I’ve learned that sensitivity is strength and that hard conversations are often the doorway back to clarity and connection. I can now embrace those parts of myself now, and I offer that same kind of space to my clients.
I became a Marriage & Family Therapist because I genuinely love relationships in all their forms — the tender moments, the messy seasons, and the everyday rituals that make life feel meaningful. Relationships influence almost everything: the way we talk to a partner in the kitchen, how we get on our child’s level, how we navigate in-laws, how we feel at work, even how we connect with the person who hands us our morning coffee. Connection shapes our lives, and I believe it’s one of the most important things we have.
In my work, I help individuals and couples understand the emotional patterns they’re stuck in and find new patterns to bring into the relationship. I bring curiosity and authenticity into the room. I’m not afraid of feelings — I love them. I love growth, honesty, and the quiet moments in therapy when something finally clicks and you feel more understood and more yourself.
I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals and couples through the life seasons that shift identity and intimacy—pregnancy, postpartum, hormonal changes, career stress, sexual health challenges, and the parts of life no one really prepares you for.

These experiences can be both delightful and hard, and it’s okay for both to be true. I know marriage can be fun and challenging. I know bodies change, emotions shift, and relationships evolve. And I know how stabilizing it feels to have someone by your side while you navigate all of that. Early in my work, I had the privilege of supporting new parents during the vulnerable, sacred postpartum season through my work as a doula.
My approach blends attachment theory, somatic awareness, systemic thinking, and emotionally focused therapy. In sessions, we slow down the emotional cycle, tune into what’s happening beneath the surface, and practice new ways of connecting that feel safer and more authentic. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can breathe, feel, laugh, cry, explore, and grow, all while being met with warmth and realness.
I’m a sappy person at heart. I love watching people light up when they reconnect with their partner, rediscover a part of themselves, or find a spark they thought they lost. I want my clients to find the people, rhythms, and moments that make life feel full again.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, empathetic, and not afraid of going deep, I’d love to meet you. You don’t have to navigate the hard parts alone. Connection is possible, repair is possible, and joy is still possible and I’m here to help you find your way there.

EFT helps individuals and couples understand the emotions and patterns that shape their relationships. By identifying core feelings and needs, it supports creating safer, more connected interactions so partners can move from disconnection to closeness, security, and emotional bonding.
-
The Gottman Method helps couples strengthen their relationship by improving communication, deepening connection, and navigating conflict more effectively. It uses practical, research-based tools to help partners understand each other better, build trust, and create a more supportive, fulfilling partnership.
-
This modality focuses on understanding how family dynamics, roles, and intergenerational patterns shape thoughts, emotions, and relationships. This approach helps clients explore how early relational experiences continue to influence present-day connections, boundaries, and responses—supporting more intentional and flexible ways of relating.
-
Attachment Theory helps you understand how early relationships shape the way you connect, communicate, and feel in your current relationships. In therapy, we explore these patterns together so you can create healthier, more secure ways of relating to yourself and the people you care about.
-
Somatic and experiential therapy focuses on what your body and emotions are communicating—not just what you can explain in words. We’ll use gentle, guided practices to help you feel safer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself.
Outside of the Office
I love laughing, getting lost in a good story, and savoring the little moments in everyday life. I’m drawn to bold pops of color and have a soft spot for midcentury modern style. Coffee runs and Target trips are basically my love language, and I show I care through small, thoughtful gestures. I enjoy exploring life with my husband, playing action figures with my son (being a boy mom after growing up with all girls is a whole new world!), and curling up for movies with a big bowl of popcorn in hand. Creative, introspective, and always looking for ways to make ordinary moments feel a little more special, I’m happiest when mixing a bit of adventure with my love of home—alongside my cat, my pup, and all things cozy.
“Love enjoys knowing everything about you; desire needs mystery. Love likes to shrink the distance that exists between me and you, while desire is energized by it.”
